Help on email notifications

I will be out of commission for a while and would like to know how to stop email notifications. In other words, when a reply to a thread is made to STOP sending it to my email. I looked in the options, etc and cant see where this is done.

Thanks

1 Click "User CP" (Control Panel) in the top bar between "Regional" and "Rules and FAQ".
2 Then click "User Options on the left
3 In the second box called "Messaging & Notification" there is a option called "defualt thread subscription mode"
4 Select "no email notification" in the drop down box
5 Scroll to bottom of the page and hit "save changes" box

Will get rid of about 99% of them couple still slip by

Double check just in case. If that does not work then in the user CP, click List subscriptions then go through the pages any that say anything else than none click the box next to notification at top the list and scroll to bottom of page and use the drop down box that says "move to folder..." to say no email notification then click go. Hope that works for you...

I THINK, if you following the instructions as shaginwagon suggests it MAY only stop e-mail notifications from any NEW THREADS at that point.

If you subscribed to any old threads they may still show up.

Anyway, many of the old threads, that I WAS subscribed to and that have been "historically" dead, have been given a second life with a new post and I get a notification about them. I elected to have no e-mail notification several months back. But again, old threads before that time.....

Maybe someone in Admin. can answer more accurately....
