Sounds like a great event. I'll see if I can fit it in my schedule. That is Veteran's Day weekend, right?

This sounds like fun. I do have a silly question though, having never been to one of these. What's the benefit of registering your car? Are you entering contests by doing that, paying for ability to show off?? My car is pretty much stock, so I don't really see the point of entering contests...

Don't be so down on stock!

mizzouhhr thought the same way and has now won three first place trophies. Many shows are judged be detailing rather than how much as been done. a perfectly detailed stock car, in and out, will beat a car with a bunch of mods more often than not. This is more true for shows that have judges rather than participant judging. Doug when to two shows last week, or the week before, and took home two trophies. BUT, he details his car as good as anyone I've seen!

According to the web site, it looks like you get free admission to a whole bunch of events, plus you get to be in the parade along Front Beach Road.

Since I didn't get to Chattanooga, I'll try my best to get to this event.

hhrjeff, do you know what kind of parking they'll have? Would we all be able to park together, especially if we meet and drive into town in a group?
