We haven't stayed there but did eat there a couple of years ago. I did request to look at one of the rooms which they let me do. The room I looked at was very clean and had a great view of the mountains. BTW, the restaurant was very good and affordable.

Clarke, I think I am going to stay either at the Quality Inn East. My first choice. Its only two minutes from The Biltmore House. The second choice would be where Dan is going to stay. The Quality Inn south about 15 minutes or so away. East has a 4 3/4 Star rating and south has a 3 star. East includes a breakfast. $67 for South $69 for East. East will probably the one for my wife and I.

We have not made reservations yet. I don't know why, but maybe this weekend.

The east one sounds better, if they have the package
that the South one is offering.

More info later...

Jeri, Thx for the support. Are you going to try and make
the Biltmore with us?

Looks like we could end up with around 15 HHR's there,
based on the rate this thing is taking off!

I can't wait to meet everybody!!!!!!

Dan, I made mine tonight at the east. The only differenc is the rate jumps on Saturday and Sunday. Complete free breakfast saves about $15 a day for four days. If you use a credit card you have up till the day of check in to cancel.

The Baymont Inn Ashville/ Biltmore Estates also gets very high ratings with Trip Advisor. Another option?

Clarke, I am not sure what you mean?

The Biltmore planning guide list tons of hotels in
the area, most with package deals including Biltmore passes.

Once you get the guide, you will have plenty of choices.

I just checked the Quality Inn web site and it say's $139.00 and up for the east, where did you get your room rates from? I'm ready to make our reservations.

Dan D, I had to get mine from Choice Hotel International 1 877 424 6423. It was $56 for the first night $111 for Friday and Saturday and $77 for Sunday. I miss quoted based on daily rates and not holidays. Considering a full breakfast that saves about $50.00. Sorry for the miss information. It is cheaper at the south by $32 but only a continental breakfast. I am still checking other rates and have time to cancel and re-book some where else. So far it is still the best deal unless you can get tickets for a good price at Biltmore included like Danl said.
