Panama City g2g
Hey all-
My husband and I drove over to Panama City yesterday. Got to meet Karen1953, SandyBeach, Stovebolt & James06. It was a fun mid-week excursion for us and really great meeting everyone!
James-
Thanks for letting us hi-jack your vacation.
Trying to get all the cars in position. (I didn't know they needed to be posed. )
Almost there. You seeing Karen on the left and Allen (stovebolt) helping us get in place. :)
And, we're ready. That's a good looking bunch of cars. (even if James has modded his until it no longer looks like an HHR. You should slow down on the mods, it's starting to look like a Nissan Quest... )
And now for the individual pics.
Here's mine. The first one was taken when we got to the park and the second was after lunch.

Stovebolt and I were going to take 20 back to Tallahassee.
We both had stopped for gas at different places, so we had lost each other.
Well it was raining so hard, plus there was an accident there, he missed the turn.
I saw it at the last minute and the accident had been moved to the side, missed the turn, but turned around, got on 20.
Turns out He was ahead of me, so, Stovebolt just went to I 10.
We met again on I 10 on the East side of Tallahassee, and drove in convoy till Wildwood turn off.
The only rain that we got was in the Panama area past the 20 exit, and boy was it bad. None in Tallahassee nor on I 10.
Great to met all and we must do another time.
Nice Hats!

We ended up taking I10 back as well. The rain was really bad for the first 20 minutes or so on 231, then it was smooth driving the rest of the way back. It was my first time taking the HHR on the interstate and it handled really well. Although at one point where it was wide open on either side of I10 I noticed it rocked pretty significantly with the wind. Is that something the sway bar would help with? (I was cruising at about 80mph when it happened )

I had a great time at the g2g. Meeting all the fine people on this forum.
James06,Kdugg_fl.( spelling is Alan)SandyBeach and especially Karen1953 from previous g2g we have had. After driving nearly 700 miles on Monday and another
100 miles on Tuesday morning I finally made to the park in PCB.
I love these g2g's and meeting fellow HHR owners. The best way to meet others.
