Talking Deb Meets HaysHotRod-56K Warning

Today my boyfriend and I met up with Dan aka HaysHotRod at an Advance Auto Parts Car Show here in Colorado. We both brought our Sunburst Orange HHR's and had a blast talking about our HHR's, seeing some really cool cars and getting to know one another. This is the first time we have met and hope to get together again as our schedules allow. Here's some of the pictures I took today. I took a whole roll of film today and one yesterday when my boyfriend and I went to 2 other car shows. When I get home to my DSL tomorrow, I'll upload them all to my albums at photobucket and give you folks the url.

The one below is Deb in the above car. Guy had a sign on it that said you could sit in it and have your pic taken...so I did. Boyfriend told me if I sat there it might have an eject button in the seat...so I went and asked the guy to be sure. It's an 85 Vette Coupe with a Blown 383 - 708 Horsepower Engine called The General.

My printer took a crap...so I haven't been able to print any yet. But trust me, I'll be getting one soon and will be taking them to the local dealers.

Thanks jerrbear. We had a fantastic time and you're right...the weather was great. We've been in the mid to high 90's, but we went early enough in the morning that it didn't bother us too much. It was also fun to look over and see the 2 HHR's sitting next to each other and watching people looking from one to another. We do have a couple of the same things on ours like our SoCalHHR stickers and our chevyhhr.net stickers and all but the plain SoCalHHR sticker w/o the flames are all in the same place. I've done a few more mods than Dan has...but he just moved into a brand new house, so he's doing the new home stuff (lawn, fence, etc). It was a great day and we saw some really cool stuff. Looking forward to doing again in the future. He's a great guy and a ton of fun to talk with. Henry and I really enjoyed meeting him and spending the morning talking and getting chrome headaches.
