Cool I have a closet full of computer parts.

A lot of them are really old though. I just powered up this Frankenstein of a system and it is all good, right now. If anyone is familiar with the vista user rating or performance monitor, this thing, as it sits, is rated at a 5.5 out of a top 5.9. The video card is lagging it down. I do have an overclocked card that would more than likely boost it to a 5.6 at least. Then the cpu would be holding it back. No big deal though. The Air Force computers I deal with at work only rate a 3.8. Even my laptop goes at a 4.4.
Oops, geek speak is flowing.
One thing I must add is, I am not a computer trained professional and what I do is like a hobby. I've been doing this since about '98. I have sold about a dozen computers to guys at work and given a few away to my ex and her kids.
I have three computers and my laptop and every now and then I get this wild hair going to upgrade.
Let's see; 500gb hard drive;CD/DVD combo burner and CD/DVD player;Multi-card reader/writer;Tower has a clear side panel to look at what is inside; a few big fans with blue lights.
Once I clear up the dining room table, I'll add some pics.

Cool Okay, here are some pics of Frankie.

I'll probably swap out the keyboard, but here it is.

There are a total of 5 cooling fans in the tower. So, this baby isn't whisper quiet. Three fans are 120mm, one is 80mm, and I think the cpu cooler fan is up near the 100mm range.
This tower is not to be kept on the floor. Try to keep pets away also.
I will be doing a new clean install of Vista before the Tom's G2G.

Wow--that's a pretty nice set up, there Mike.
I dig the chrome on that tower and the color looks like Daytona blue

Look for a Bob's Big Boy thingie sooner...

You get to award Dust Bunny should you choose to - but several people have held on their "pets"... it happens.

You mean for Bob's Big Boy?
My last day of work is 8.31.09 & pretty busy until then with school/cleaning my office out, etc. With all us September b-day's to celebrate, maybe Labor Day weekend--let's see what folks think.

Hope you and Dorian are feeling better!
