Looks like cool and clear for Saturday. Great day for an install of springs, sway bar, black out brake drums, muffler and clean an air filter. I want to cruise up over signal hill on the way to PCH. A few miles of twisties and a killer view of the harbor.

Then on to Ruby's. Should be a nice day out with friends.

Head count!

Hey everyone--need a tentative head count here for Saturday. I want to call Ruby's on Friday to see if we can reserve tables. I think it is all booths? I think the last time I went to one was in like the early 90's

So far:
@
Don
Tracy & Julie
Kris
Todd
Daryl
Charles (fan club too?)

Maybe's from the 'dago contingent:
Sarge/Greg

And just maybe's:
Kim/Doc
Joe
Papa Smurf

will be missed:
Tim
Matt (hope you are doing better!)

Nuisance rain (moreso for those of us with black HHR's) is supposed to hit tonight and Sunday--so yes, a gorgeous, cool day expected for Saturday!
I'll bring my camera to take car pix!

What time do we meet for lunch? There's a chance that I may have to work in the AM (my turn to babysit the factory) in which case I would leave straight from work approx 1130. I can fine tune my departure time if I know the time for Lunch. I'll know better Friday Noon latest whether I have to play Nanny

I will be there (Ruby's @ 2 PM, right?) UNLESS it is a Tropical Downpour/NorEaster/Tornado/Typhoon all rolled into one...

Well since I've recently become contageous, we wont be coming. Yes the doctor tells me its quite common to get the chicken pox more than once. Lucky me, I feel so special!

First time I've done an exhaust change on something other than a V8 (I'm a flowmaster fan and though not a ford fan I like the exhaust sound of an fox body 5.0 if it's done right)......

Maybe I'm getting old but, I'm on the fence on this one. I like it but when warmed up there's some low rpm interior resonance from a stop to about when it shifts to OD (moderate acceleration). I can live with it, but the car is also used for family trips to Vegas & Northern Ca so I'm concerned about it bothering the passengers (sr citizens riding in the back). Sister good naturedly teases me and says maybe I should've bought a Honda. This could be a problem when when the car is fully loaded going up Cajon pass. It helps a little to drop the cargo shelf to the lowest position (Maybe Dyno mat that corner of the spare tire well?). Otherwise I blast the stereo. Maybe there's a breakin period where the sound might might change a bit?

As far as performance gains. My big butt dyno isn't feeling it.

Fuel economy - we'll see when I cruise up to LBC this Saturday

I like the sound, maybe a bit ricy to some ears and I like that turtleshell is no longer showing below the bumper

Ps I dont' do booths either, it gets in the way of my beer belly (and I don't drink beer)
