Angie those kinda look like my stock steelies but chromed and studded. I was thinking of just glossing my steelies and see what they look like until I can find my red and black wheels.
If they had been like Todd's (kind of the star shape), I would have argued to keep them. They were a little 'busy' and at that moment, was looking to shave $2K off the price--always liked the stockers and still do.
Randy/Ralph, dig the ones you sent me the link to, but I think they are a little too masculine for a black and pink car!
Trac', don't blame us for the mod bug!
Looks like a rain this weekend folks--drive safe.

LOL one more time for the question
Looks like time to get out the tools and paint. Enjoy your semi-retirement brother.
How tough is it to strip it down? What did you use?

I used Jasco paint remover, got it at Lowes. I will be happy to paint you a new grille. I just need the right paint. If you want one cut up, I am done from that for a while. I have the one that I just stripped that I can paint summit white, get me the paint and it is done. todd (Uma)

To be honest Angie, I would stick to the stock 17's. I have always liked the factory polished wheels that you have the best. My car rode better with the factory wheels, the 18's I have are much heavier and you can feel it in the steering. The 18's I got were all about the look we were going for and I wish I still had the stock wheels, especially since I have 22k on a set of tires rated at 20k. The wear bars are just visible on my Bridgestones.
One of the wheels is a little jacked up where a curb jumped out at me, so unless I replace one, I was tossing around getting new ones.
No rush here...just feeling the need for change!

Yeah we are comparing apples to oranges here. My car handles great being lowering, 20"s, and the low profile Toyos. But I feel everything. I drove Kris' after the leveling and the sway bar, it handles much better than before, but the ride was not bad at all. In my opinion, without the front end lowered also, it feels too free in the front. The back is all over the ground, just dont trust the front to stay put. Now that is just me, I have 20"s, her 16"s. I think the happy medium would be 18" wheels, eibach lowering kit. I know that my wheels are very lightwieght, do not know if that makes a difference. Tim, we both know that it does not matter how it drives..It is how it looks!. And we all look good! Todd (Uma)

I know wearing a heel higher then 2" is impractical, dangerous, and uncomfortable.
But they do look good!
Hmmm...I tend to wear flats these days, so maybe lowering is the way to go!
