Please don't forget to bring your pop up canopy, chairs, ice chest with water and sandwiches, suntan lotion, camera and most important... YOUR PAPERWORK for the show. Go get it now and slide it into the back of your front seat NOW!!! So that you will not forget it. Don't forget cash if you're going to buy raffle tickets or go to the flea market.

PARKING:

YES, we did register as a club, but that was to see if we had enough cars to be considered for an award class. I don't know about that, tho..

They do not designate parking. You have to arrive as a group, and pull in together. Oh sure, they may give you an extra spot, but why risk it?
TIMING:

I still think 5:30 is best but will go with the group.

Getting there later means you may be out in the back 40 farther away from restrooms, food stands, & admin areas, not to mention the incredible indoor displays of upper crust vehicles. Also, there is a grassy area, way off to one side, but it's usually the last place people visit.

ENTRANCE: We want to enter on Arlington Road, from Fairfiew Dr., preferably coming from the South, so it will be a right turn onto Arlington. This is the only way to ensure some yahoo doesn't cut us off when the light turns.

I will lead if Tim doesn't want to. Remember, this is a huge show and we need to be a bit organized about it.
The rest of the year we can afford to be more ragtag .

Thank you Angie for your offer of a meet-up place. We'll shock the early birds on your block!
I'll second that

That route is almost 11 miles and goes through 4 cities--taking Fairview is a straight shot up (about 5 miles) and you hang a left onto Arlington. Now if you think we should make a Right onto Arlington, then yes, we would have to turn around on Fairview to cross over to come in South.

I'll be in surly mood as will Daryl (aka, Grumpee)--we'll kick anyone out of our spot! Dang it, we are socal HHR's!

Just saying.

But I'll do what the herd wants

Neighbors are cool (one of them is my sister--2nd house from the 7-11).

Oh, and Daryl, I know it can be suspect, but you CAN trust the directions I PM'd ya!

Is this one that if need be, some can leave earlier than the end of the show?

Hey Don, show info is here: http://www.cruisinforacure.com/show_hours.htm
but it doesn't state if we can leave early or not--I'd be interested in that info too.
So all, *what* time are we meeting at the hacienda!!??
I mean, this is ONLY 2 weeks away!!!

Yep, I looked there 1st before I posted. The question was posed for someone that went last year and might know about leaving early.

Yep, you can leave earlier. You just go out on the cruise route and when you get near an exit -- you jam! We will probably cruise a few times, it's fun.

Angie and I are hashing this out through PM so we don't get peeps confused.
Please stay tuned.

Sounds better and better. Im all for parking close to the cool stuff and vote for leaving Angie's early. We will need to set up and get comfortable. Im sure there will be coffee for sale there, etc. in the morning. Looking forward to seeing everyone soon.

Nothing to hash out, Ms. Cheri! I am VERY flexible and cool with anything! I just want to hang with my peeps and enjoy a fun day
Sending you a PM...
