Check going in tomorrow's mail. Good Lord Todd and Dorian can be persuasive.
I even ordered a damn T shirt. Ok, this will be almost a month to the day after my surgery, I should be able to make it.

Ok Todd, I'll step up & register before weekend., since it's for a good cause. Can't guarantee, that I can make it - that's end of month (last day to meet revenue goal). Won't know if I have it off until 1-2days prior.

OMG I gotta get up early for this one?

We can't make that show. It happens to be the same weekend as the run in Laughlin which we've made for 14 years with the parents, and also celebrate our anniversary at.

I know that family and personal stuff comes first, I am just asking to make an effort. Todd (Uma)
Todd, I want to apologize for being rude to you with my responses. This is important to you (and Cheri) and I made light of it (considering what I do, it wasn't cool). I have always had intentions to go to this and am glad I will still be able to do so. It is the company I go for more then the cars (although they are cool too).

I appreciate how our group does things for each other unconditionally--you all remind me to try and be a better person every day.

Sorry and gracias, amigo!
(check is in the mail, well, tomorrow-no stamps!)

What, "Sirius Blackie" or the quote from Jose Alfredo Jimenez ("El Rey")??

Hey--you should go to this Matt. It is at OC Fairgrounds in COSTA MESA
I was still too new to the forum last year when this happened and didn't know the group of folks yet--and I was too shy to meet any of them until January...

I know it is close to Home, Walkling distance, I could almost push the car there. And it is about Prostate Cancer, and there is family history there... We shall see. Right on top of my birthday too.

I liked the quote on the bottom, I understand the "Sirius Blackie" but the other quote sounded so appropriate!

As for Shy, I understand that far too well, as well.

I'm so happy to see this - Guess we should start a roster to keep up:

Cheri /mitzkity
Todd /Uma
Bud /Harvey
Angie /afs9
Don /HipHotRod
Tim /TKHHR?
Daryl /Grumpee
Matt /McChuntley

Lots of vendors too - usually the Painless Dent Removal crew is there (mopar club buddy and they do excellent work!) and also Jeff Styles who did hubby's flamer job. More than you could imagine to do and see.

Indoor exhibitions of cars that cost more than my house did, plus the owners there to tell you stories.

2 rows of Prowlers and 1 henhouse full of DeLoreans with or without movie (BTTF) restorations.

And the morning cruise in the dim light of day, while you slug your coffee and listen to the open headers. It's an experience, it actually gives me chills just writing about it.

You join all those people - because you were able to get yourself up, car all cleaned, and get your group in there, all together.
