Donor HHR in LA Area to test Intake System

Hey everyone,

I got this email from Chris from Weapon-R Competition Products (www.weapon-r.com). They are looking for an HHR in the L.A. Area to be the testbed for their intake system. If anyone's interested, please contact Chris directly. Here is the email I got from Chris today:

Well we are trying to CARB exempt our secret weapon intake systems. We would need a 2007 specifically with an engine family of 7GMXV02.4029. This info is located under the hood.

We are being asked by the state of California air resource board to test this particular vehicle. The donor’s vehicle is needed for a bout 5 business days. The vehicle will be going to 400 South Etiwanda ave. Ontario , CA 91761. Yes that’s LA, it’s the only place these particular tests are performed. We prefer the 2007 HHR to be in OEM configuration with no modifications on the vehicle. We will provide a rental vehicle for the person loaning us the vehicle. As well as a free intake system from us once we have completed the testing.

We will be driving the vehicle to the testing station and dropping it off there and picking it up when done.

Thanks for the email.

Also if you know of anyone maybe already in the LA area that would work too.

Hmmm. Scott's got an 07 and it's not like he's driving it. Someone is using it now. I guess I will check the numbers when I get it back.
