John Force Cruise Night's / SoCal HHRs April 26th
SoCal HHRs has been invited to attend!
Due to our great turnout and awesome display of beautiful HHR's at our February g2g we have been invited to attend their first Cruise Night on April 26th 2008 and possibly host a future Cruise Night during the summer.
Here is the text of an email I received today:
Here is a link to the Flyer, however it looks like last years flyer and hasn't been updated yet.

I think the car show in Primm Nevada (state line) that Bill & Linda (HHR Boutique) told us about is that same weekend. Plus Mitzkity's g2g is the week before and set in stone. We sure are getting a busy schedule put together!
So let's hear from the group on which way you want to go. Do we try and do the state line show and go to John Force a different month or blow off the state line for this time? I would like to hear from as many of the group as possible.

Great to hear from you also after meeting you Sunday. Our John Force Cruise Nights are held on the last Saturday of each month, between April & October 4pm-7pm with cars starting to move-in around 2:30 – 3pm. We’d love to have your group attend our first cruise of the year on April 26th if that works for you. That way we can familiarize your members with our cruise nights and hopefully they’ll come back several times during the summer.
Also if your club would ever like to host a cruise night, we can discuss that also!
Sincerely,
Craig Hoelzel
Director of Special Promotions

Man...I am a HUGE JFR fan...I'd almost be tempted to make that trip south.
any time you get an invite from JFR, you're special...no sarcasm intended.
they are BIG TIME in to PR work, and VERY much in to PR for their sponsors...and they aint no Chevy team.
Hope you get to see the legend himself...go easy on him...he's had 1 tough 12 months.

I am speaking just for me, but the state line thing is iffy for me. The John Force g2g is totally do-able. Cheri's is first of course, and two in the same month may be alot to ask. But, I am ready for back to back weekend thing. We may not have fifteen cars, But we may get ten. I will follow the herd!! Todd (Uma)

Sure, me too.
Ive been to several of the JFR events. My Dad and I have a 46 Ford and a 55 F100 that we show and took them to JFR.
I am in for the JFR weekend and of course Cheri's too. The 28th is my birthday so what the hell, im in.
Also, who has sent in the reg for the canyon pom pom girls fund raiser? Telling true, I dont want to go if there isnt a lot of us going. However, I sent the $25 in today.

I'm thinking we are all on the same page with this one. Cheri's event is a must do, no questions. I think a State Line trip the following weekend is too much to ask like Todd said, so maybe we will do that another time.
I sent my $25 for the Comanche Cruise (March 16th) already and I think we will have a good turn out for that one too.
So if I am reading everyone so far I think the John Force Cruise on April 26th is a go. Best part is it is FREE too. We have plenty of time to work out the details.
If you can make it, please come and join us!

Pom-Pom's yes: I keep forgetting my checkbook, but I will mail on Friday.
I'm up for JFR too (would be easier to do that then go to a NV event). I have tentative plans for that weekend already, but not in stone. I'm for sure going to Cheri's since she is kind enough to (put up) invite us to her home Although I may miss most or all of the morning portion at Angelo's due to a work commitment I'm trying to get out of.
For some reason I've suddenly become 'cooler' with my (cynical college) students by participating in these events!
