I once listened to the voices in my head, but I figured that if they wanted to talk to me they must be crazy

Nothing I say is copyrighted.. Go for it. If you can make another person laugh, then the words did their job.

In that vein, I have always wanted to drive up to Victorville, to the Route 66 Museum -- http://www.califrt66museum.org/exhibits.html -- and then follow my route 66 maps all the way back to H.Beach.

I drove route 66 all the way out to Kingman Arizona and man is it desolate out there in amboy and ludlow. You know I have lived in Hesperia/Victorville all my life practically and never went to the museum. There use to be a site along the freeway up there that was a man made museum of sorts not it is supposedly in the museum. It was called Hulaville this old man lived on the site and just had obscure things in the yard.

I take my girlfriend Sabrina out for a drive in the country about every other week. When I first got it we went out for about an hour and a half driving aimlessly. It's really nice to have a smooth riding car that'll get about 28-30mpg cruising around. Not to mention the car is almost as pretty as she is! :)

I used to Cruise the Angeles Crest Highway when I had my '62 chevy PU. I would get pissed off with life, and have to think, and would go up and down and all over those mountains. Lots of places to pull over and think.
Cruise over, and out to Lancaster & Palmdale.
Or down to the beach. Just all over the place. If the truck broke, you just pulled over and fixed it!
Simpler, cheaper days

When I used to have my Firebird, the fun thing was to drive the Ortega Highway to Lake Elsinore.

I still get a blast doing road trips, which is one of the reasons I like driving up to the OC for these G2Gs ( that and the pleasure of see you all) .

A confession (Charles, Cheri and couple others know this): I had every intention of going to Fall G2G @ Tom's Farm in '07. Right after work I headed up the 15, but I was enjoying the drive so much I wound up going to Vegas. When I got there, I turned around and drove back to San Diego
That is sooo funny!! It is totally cool that you did that! You should have told us earlier, LOL. Todd (Uma)
