Okay, I really would like to do this, follow Route 66 in BARSTOW!!! Westward to the sea, and am thinking of an October timeframe...so, anyone else interested other than me, Cajun and Elle' & McChuntley?

Bob, not sure about the Route 66 Rendezvous. We went last year and it was splendiferous, but the info says 1974 and older.

I wrote to them and asked them about HHRs. Also I recall the date's always very near to the Cruisin for Cure each year.

Sure if I'm in town... It would be an all day drive as Route 66 is all surface streets.

Yep, it's '74 and older for the cruisin and show entry, but parkin and walking the event is ok if ya park outside the cruisin area.

It's Sept. 18-21 this year. Always the 3rd week end of the month.
