Nor-Cal "Chevrolet Heritage G2G" in Modesto

Hi All, I received this email from Karl. Sounds like a great start for our G2G's in 2009. I'm for it, anyone else?

Greetings friends,

I'm in the process of organizing our next Get-Together. February 21st at 11am at A&W on G-Street in Modesto. We will be hosting a few members from the Northern California SSR club, and if all goes well, we might make it a semi-regular event (apart from our own events)... call it a 'Chevrolet Heritage G2G' if-you-will.

I would like to get a head count for this event, please.

Sounds like fun.
See ya down the road

When: Saturday February 21st @ 11am
Where: "The Original" A&W Drive-In
1404 'G' Street, Modesto 95354

I'm in... oh wait... I'm organizing this!

Two Chevrolet Heritage models, the HHRs and SSRs in the same lot. If this goes as well as I think it will, we may have this be a regular event.

Anyone available for February 21st?

Can someone give me directions to this A&W. I will be headed south bound 99. Is it close to Roseburg?

If you're heading South, there should be an off-ramp called 'Central Modesto' (which is 5th Street). The cross street is L Street. Keep going on 5th St until you see G Street and turn left... and keep going until you see us.

Here is the Google Maps directions: http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&tab=wl

Chevrolet Heritage Update

Here's the latest update for Saturday's G2G in Modesto.

11am - 1:30 (or 2pm): A&W (G2G and then lunch)
2pm: Drive to American Chevrolet (4742 McHenry Avenue) for about 30-40 minutes for a photo-op, to say hi, look at new products, etc, etc.

I'll be at American about 9:30-ish to get the oil changed (there's nothing like Modesto oil, I tell ya...), so if anyone in Modesto's driving around, I'll probably see you.

See you Saturday!!
