I washed it yesterday and here is the skinny. you for sure need to wash it quicker than a regular paint job, it dries faster and leaves spots if you let it dry. After it was dry I had no issues at all its actually not that different. The shop I had it done at agreed with me that hot rod black by sem is the best and only flat/suede black to use. You can do a flat clear over it but I dont see the need, also it does not scratch. I went by the shop to talk to the owner about washing it and he wiped it with a dry cloth while dirty to show me it dosent scratch (I almost freaked out) but it did not leave a mark. He told me to just wash it and then spray detail it and done, it worked perfectly. He also said I can wax it but wait a month to do so because of how thick they spray it on. I love it and get constant thumbs up

It's amazing! I never saw anything like this on an HHR, I bet you have an original there!! Hope I get to see it in person some day - excellent job!
