Silicon Valley PT Cruisers Invites The HHR Community

I presented the request tonight at the club gathering and everyone was very excited about inviting you to their annual Fall Fest held in Milpitas at the Foster's Freeze on Main Street on October 21st .
In fact there were several ideas brought up about having combined HHR & PT gatherings, including a tribute to the infamous designer of both, Bryan Nesbitt.

These are great folks that have a love for the automobile. Heck half the time I show up in another car besides a PT and gather a crowd, simply because we all enjoy cars, no matter what they are.

Here is a lowdown on the Fall Fest.
Events:

Blindfold Trike Obstacle Course/drags
Can you back up your PT or ride blindfolded better?
Toilet Paper Mummy Wrap Contest
How fast can you wrap up one of your fellow cruisers?
Bobbin for Eyeballs
Got bite? Not afraid of getting wet?
Pumpkin Weigh-In
Guess the weight win a pumpkin....$1 a guess!
Pumpkin Decorating Contest
Decorate or carve at home...bring it to Fosters and see who's best!
Pumpkin Walk
In place of our raffle, get your number drawn and win a prize (after you get some excercise!) Prizes for kids AND adults! $1 per turn...win again and again! Bring your normal raffle donations to be given away all night during the walks!
PT Costume Contest
Who can disguise their PT the best? Find out!
Halloween Hatch Contest
Set up your hatch to show your halloween spirits!
PT'ers Costume Contest
Who can disguise THEMSELVES the best....for kids and adults
Non-costume Cotume Contest
All your mom got you was a shirt? Show it off!
Kid's trick-or-treats
Everyone should bring candy or treats, cuz the kids will have nasty tricks if you don't....silly string is cheap!
50/50 Drawing
Spend a couple bucks...win more than a couple bucks....!

....and last but not least....

A SPECIAL SURPRISE FOR YOUNG AND ALL to be unveiled AT the show!

The whole area will be humming with Halloween sounds, groans and cackles......

Be sure to bring treats for the kids AND donate baked goods or other PT goodies to be given away at the pumpkin walk!!

EVERYONE is invited to this club members or not! So bring your friends and family!

There are some incredibly talented people in this group and they promised something very special.
I really hope you take the time to come out and enjoy their company, they are definitely excited about having you. Trust me you wil be treated very well.

No interest in this at all... kind of disappointing.... the group was really looking forward to meeting some HHR folks and have a good time. Well, I will let them know no one is coming........

Our crowd has more fun before the run, no contests and stuff, well maybe a (1) legged race.

I we were closer than we are, we would bring both our HHR's. Just WAY too far for us to drive.

Remember though please, the natives around here sometimes have a short memory span (I think its all the exhaust fumes! ), the more often you remind us of an event, the better the chances are we'll show.

You still might get some though!

Way too far for us to drive too. Perhaps they would want to meet up with us at next year's Solvang Run?

If I don't have to work I will plan on being there. I have to agree the No. Cal. owners don't seem to be the get together type. About what time should we show up?

See ya down the road

We've tried and had little response or had a second run planned close to our meeting place and date so we ended up with lost "runners." So we'll wait I guess fo a while until there is more interest.

I hope people don't wait to long. I'm 65 and not getting any younger, so I'm going to try to have as much fun now as I can. This life is not a practice so lets live it up. Beside its been a long time since I have had any chocolate chip cookies.

See ya down the road.
