It was great seeing friends and meeting new ones. Definately need to G2G again in March.
As much as it was fun today it was terrible on the way home made the mistake of going a different route (91 to 15). With the gout on my gas/brake pedal foot combined with traffic congestion, it was lot of :
Stop, "OUCH" and Go

Sounds like a good time was had by all...
Sorry I missed this one, but we spent last week throught Saturday, in
New Orleans, watching Mardi Gras parades and eating ourselves to death.
Or, at least near death. This was our annual trip down South to see the family and eat seafood. I gained almost 8 pounds.....
I hope to catch up with everyone at the next G2G...

Just an update... Jason/Doc's surprise party was a big success!! Even if I just threw it together at the last minute (with in 5 days) he had know idea what he was walking into on Sunday. He had never had a surprise party before what a treat.

Okay 2 things:
Cajun, you should be ashamed to put yourself and a vacation ahead of staying home to go to AJ's. I mean, New Orleans is one of my fav cities, but still, it was US!
Kim, you done good, girl! Although I would kill anyone who tried to do a surprise party on me, it sounds like it was a huge success. He'll be beaming about that for a while.

Laissez les Bons Temps Rouler!
I was at a conference in NO last year for Mardi Gras. WOW is all I can say--the food, the parades, people, food (had fried alligator!), barfing frat boys on Bourbon St., cafe au lait from cafe du monde and hot beignets....etc...
I had BAGS full of beads when I left (and no, I didn't have to flash for them--i think they tossed them so I wouldn't flash!).
NO is a great place and definetly worth a visit.
Now, I am preparing for lent and still negotiating what to give up.
