Went to Walmart this morning to see the SoCal Krew off: Todd, Tim, Kris, Cheri & Dorian.
If it is as gorgeous in 'Dago as it was in the OC this morning, should be a great drive down.
Looking forward to seeing some great pix!

Apologies for not being able to remember some of your real names, hence the avatar names .
Thanks to Kenny for back door Guardian up to Soledad. Al - great save risking your rear waiting for stragglers and Todd for being Rear Guard on the way down to Great Moon.

Someday I got learn to pick and place/center my subjects in the frame + I hope someone got some scenic shots.
I hope everyone had a safe journey home.

"S____that Daryl for leaving me in the car while he stuffs his face. Isn't there some law about leaving kids and animals in the car?..Grumble grumble!!"

It took an hour longer to get home than it did to get there.
(Note to self: Try not driving long distances on a full belly)
I compiled three panoramic pics of the day. Angie; eat your heart out.
Sears parking lot; 2 more showed up afterwards and the angle wasn't right to splice them in.
Next up on Soledad Mountain with everybody there.
And finally, the view of the beach from the mountain.
Yeah, I'm beginning to get the hang of splitting the text between the pics.
Had a great day and stuffed myself. And, I caught myself getting tired and nodding a couple of times. Almost got ticketed, but got lucky. Cop had me dead to rights doing 80 in a 65 and making frequent lane changes. Don't know how long he was behind me. At least I signaled my lane changes. He was just in a bigger hurry.

Great Day! Daryl did a wonderful job on mapping out the route, and the resteraunt was awesome. Hats off to you Daryl...you made it a beautiful day for us all, and I hope you like your new job at San Deigo Tourist Bureau! Thanks. Todd (Uma)

Hey Todd, was that first pic a pit-stop??
GREAT shots all--Mike, no problem giving you a hats off on the panoramics! Very nice! :)
Sorry I had to miss it, but was nice to see some of you in the morning for a few minutes.
It was indeed a gorgeous day for a drive.
