Anyhow....this is the first time I've driven it with the new intake. I cleared it...I'll see if it comes back on any time soon.
It will. Have Vince retune you for the intake or keep it stock. Even those w/ the GMTU will see erratic fuel trims when they install a CAI.

Hopefully, they will just soldier everthing and I'll be good to go.

Got the wategate actuator solenoid....installed it...didn't do anything.

Took it to the dealer today.....they got pi**ed off and said "We've done our part, we are sick of wasting the dealerships money on your car, if we have to work on that car anymore, your getting charged $85.00 and hour. And if you want it reflashed, it's going to cost you $160.00".

So....I'm either going to have to switch to another dealer......or...just see if Vince and override the GMS1 Tune....and see if a straight Trifecta Tune can possibly fix it (if it's ECM related).

To be honest...I'd rather just get rid of the GMTU (and go with Trifecta)....but I don't think the BOSCH 3 Bar MAP sensors will work with the stock tune...

Anyhow, I dropped it off...so they can "look at it" at 9 a.m.
Here is is 8:30 p.m.....they never contacted me or anything....

Vince can tune it with the stock MAP sensors. One of his vendors told me that you can make the same power with the stock sensors.

3bars won't work on the stock tune you would have to have a base file modified for the 3bars and then switch via your cruise or tract button to the trifecta tune. now the base file does not have to be the actual gms1 tune....just has to have the paremeters set for the 3bars.

honestly at the point you are at now i would try and get the gm customer service forum member involved see if they can help you get anywhere.

true but he would have to change back to the stock sensors which would be another big headache.

That's what I was thinking....BUT....in GM's defense...I have done alot of modifications....he kept saying..."I know you've done some extra tuning on that car".....which I have. I think one of the employee's must have told him that I have the Trifecta Tune. I'm friends with everyone at the whole dealership...and I've only told only couple people that I've done some extra tuning....figured they wouldn't have said anything.

So....really....they probably won't do anything when it comes down to it...since it's been tuned.....

the trifecta won't be seen and you can take it off too....they won't be able to see it.

i had 2 turbo's and an engine replaced and i was hptuned.....don't ask long story.....they had to send a snapshot of my ecu to gm before the would approve any of the work

the customer service people don't care about mods and won't ask.
