Installed the replacement oring on the upper map sensor...did absolutely nothing....no change in how it runs...guess I can take that off of the list. What to do....what to do...

The only thing I haven't installed or done yet is the upper IC pipe....ZZP said they are getting powder coated right now and should be sent out next week. I guess it's possible the upper IC has a hairline crack or something huh?....I highly doubt it though....

its possible but it more than likely wouldn't behave like you have described.

inspect the wires that run from the map sensors to see if they are damaged in any way or coming in contact with anything. from every stg 1 issue i have ever read about it is almost always something to do with the lower map sensor or wiring.

I wish there were someway I could just get a whole new harness (not sure what it consists of) and get the plu-n-play adapter kit for the GMS1....that way....I could atleast rule out any type of wiring issue. (no connectors, soldiers)

You think I should go ahead and replace both of the TMAP sensors? (upper and lower)? That's the only thing with the GMS1 kit that hasn't been changed yet.....
