Competitive Mode no longer available !?
Hi,
I bought my HHR SS Automatic last year. It was an accidented car from America and import it to Germany. It was repaired but not properly. Before I disasemle the car, I drive it, the Competitive Mode was available w/ Launch Control. After disasemble and remount, the Battery was down and I recharged it. The Key Fob dont work after this and I bring my Car to the dealer. I dont know what the Dealer do with my car, maybe reprogram the BCM or PCM, but now, the Competitive Mode is no longer available after the Dealer reprogram the Key Fobs.
How do I going in Comp Mode?
During the Engine is running, I press the ESC two time but the Message "Competitive Mode" dont apear in to he Diyplay...
What do I wrong?

First, thanks for your reply Jeiler9865,
what you say makes sense, because after the dead battery the BCM was blocked and the Dealer reprogrammed it.
On the occasion, the dealer sets the BCM to "EXPORT CAR" (before "AMERICA"), because the brake and turn signal in red are not allowed in Germany or other features like the Remote Sart.
I had the chance to look into the settings of my car with the TECH2: and yes, it´s possible to turn on or off the Competitive mode.
If my car is repaired (accident) I bring the car back to the Dealer to re-enable the COMP MODE.
a thousand thanks to you Jeiler9865

Hi,
I picked up my car today from the dealer. The mechanic said with tech2 and Opel GT/Chevrolet HHR software
(and many other) the hanfheld cant communicate with BCM.
He is not able to reenable the Competitive Mode, the TPMS are not programable too.
The dealer is very interessted to help but he cant because he becomes no info or possible available patches and so on from GM.
The TPMS light is on and cant learn by RKE.
From BNR I recently bought and put the TRT-Tune on my car but the Tune is allready active, I cant enable/disable it
because the Comp Mode is not available.
Has anyone have this case that the BCM cant communicate with Tech2 ?
Any solution?
Who does programm his car hisself and have any idea about soft and hardware so I can fix my car for myself?
