curb damage, it was destiny

Well i broke the bottom 2 inch wrap around trim molding in front [i knew it was coming] . i removed it and i now have another 2 inches of ground clearance. i would assume this isn't a functioning part? [air direction].

ugh, had my front bumper cover replaced twice now. $900 a pop. Second time I had that stupid little black plastic piece painted with the bumper. Almost went with the SS grill and bumper, but decided not to when it got to $400 in price difference and we werent done comparing prices yet. 8-/

After studying the air flow around the front and back under the SS[for future aero stuff] I could'nt see that the 2" air deflector, under the front facia, did much of anything that related to cooling. Most air deflectors direct air up into the front of the radiator, but not in this case. All it does is redirect a liitle air from under the car, so removing it does'nt hurt anything.
Now that I lowered the SS, it was scraping on the driveway, so I took it off.

The deflector does not hurt cooling since it is unrelated.

It does move the air down and around undebody of the car. It just cleans it up a little and returns a little better aero numbers. Not a lot but in the big picture a little bit here and there add up. I expect belly pans in the future on many cars. Under car air managment has been little but will increase witht he new fuel averages the gov has imposed.
