Does anyone know when the vacuum assist pump for the brakes is suppose to run.

Secret numbers? I don't know what that is. Why was a postitive wire installed at the fuse box?

After your VIN is loaded with the upgrade all the tech does is install. I believe there is a question which is Vacuum Pump and the tech answers yes or no. That is how the 2008s were. But since your pump was factory installed I don't know that that question is still asked, but I am betting it is and the tech said no.

My pump was not factory installed.

The positive wire going into the fuse block is from the recently installed vacuum brake assist pump

Yes, I have the dealer installed vacuum pump, and if i remember correctly, it is bolted near the oil pan. The pump runs for a few seconds to build up more vacuum for the brakes.

How are you determining if the pump is working or not?
After they initially installed my pump I never heard it but it worked great.

Well wish me luck I bring it Back in Monday
