Looks like its part of #5.
You can't put a piece of straight fuel hose on instead of that part ?

I don't think it is sold separately and it does not come with. Maybe it comes with from a dealer.
They should, they always crack being under the car exposed to everything.
Some have had success with double O-rings and RTV.

OK if you scroll down this list and find Blue's posted part number click on it.
Yes I know it's a European site.
The next page say's it's a seal.
Here is the first page.
https://www.usaspareparts.com/parts/...parts/383.html

Here is the second page. with the description.
https://www.usaspareparts.com/parts/...nstr-fltr.html

Also I found this, the seal is on it.
https://www.gmpartscenter.net/oem-pa...hoCqrgQAvD_BwE

Still don't understand why you can use a piece of fuel hose.
Yes one end is bigger than the other, but it can't be that hard. Unless it's 3/4 inch hose.

The description on the vent valve you listed for the sierra truck reads like the description for the part number old blue posted. So I am going to order the one blue posted If I don't hear back from Hellshot who could possibly have one off his scrap parts. If I were to use a hose and clamps, not sure there is enough plastic on the canister to get a clamp on .
