Powergrid makes a nice performance link with hiem joint ends. It's not cheap, but the goodparts never are. WWW.powergridinc.com. 10mm=35 lbs. 12mm=45 lbs.
The problem with heim joints under the car is moisture...plain and simple. They have tight clearances so any moisture/debris/pitting causes them to lock up.

Yeah, the new link fixed the clunk on the drivers side! You could not tell it was bad with the car up in the air and weight off of the suspension. It wasnt till I removed the upper link nut that you could feel that the bottom one was shot. I wish they would have made the hex on the ball stud a little bit bigger so you could cleanly get a back up wrench on it. The bottom link was a pain in the a*@ to get off. I had to use a small pair of visegrips to hold the ball stud to keep it from turning. Anyways, we will see how long this one lasts. The original links have lasted 50,000 miles. G.B.
