Unhappy Help!! No boost!!

Hello all.... I am hoping someone here can help.. a couple of months ago my check engine light came on and I lost all my boost power if i stepped on the gas it would go to 0 and no further...I took it to my shop and the guy check the codes and it was showing bad MAF sensor I did not have the money at the time so he reset the codes and it was actually fine. about 3 weeks ago I took a rather long trip (((over400 miles))) and on the way back I lost boost... I called him about it and brought it in he checked the codes and sure enough its the MAF sensor..

I had him replace it finally yesterday and all day yesterday it was fine I went out this Morning and ... no boost I am so at a loss here and I can't get it back to him till Monday does anyone have any idea what may be going on here..?

O I should say that when the boost goes you can hear a change in the airflow meaning the sound my car makes.. could be by chance be the BOV?

Thanks for any help you can give...

have the code read before someone rips you off(unless its too late)...do you have an aftermarket intake or new filter?

P0101 is a common code because the MAF sensor hates everything but a stock paper filter. the code is a circulation/volume problem that the computer doesn't like.

I learned this the hard way with a custom short ram I made that sounded amazing, but now sits in my garage. You have to get tuned for the extra air with a new filter/anything aftermarket(if thats what you have)

EDIT: Is your K&N new?

MAF codes are also an indication of a boost leak. You may have a loose coupler, cracked charge pipe, cracked intercooler, bad BPV, or leaking vac lines.

Here is a link on how to do a boost leak test.

The only thing you cant test with this method is the BPV.
