mtx shifter

Soo, its hard to describe. 2nd gear is harder than hell to get in gear while driving. Over 15mph its nearly impossible. Also once u use 2/4/r u have to kinda push hard on 1/3/5 gears. Its like, one of the many plastic parts broke and is on the bottom of the shifter.. not off til thursday so kinda curious. N I hope/pray that its still warrentyed but it happend while normal driving. Tranny shop wanted like 100$ just to look at it, but I didn't feel like that. Lol ideas? The driver before me kinda pushed the car hard as the blue selector thing has a broken clip for reverse and like a million small blue shavings around the ball, in the grease...

The reverse lock out on mine broke in the first month. You may want to look into an aftermarket short shifter, depending on what the dealership has to say. The shavings may be the culprit, and/or the cables may need adjusted. Let the stealership diagnose the problem. I would think that should be covered under the powertrain warranty, but maybe someone more in the know will chime in on that.

yay, they replaced, it, as well as the shifter cable. Its not under the power train, but was under the extra warrenty I bought from them. :) shifts like a hot knife cutting through butter now, as if, it pulls it into gear haha.
