One one big pain...
So after my clutch install, she was good for about 800 miles. Then cel. U0073, p0300,p0451,p0101.
Reset the codes hoping the bcm was just being stupid. She runs great, idles perfectly around 850.
Then about 170miles later, cel again. U0073 and p0496...
Ideas? I checked the fuse panel to make sure it was seated right, and it was.

The P0496 DTC code is a generic code which applies to all vehicle makes. A quick search on the 'net shows that this code seems to be more common with GM (Chevy, Pontiac, etc.) vehicles. In Acura, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, and Mazda vehicles, this code is described "EVAP system high purge flow" which is the same thing. This DTC checks for undesired intake vacuum flow to the EVAP system. The control module seals the EVAP system by commanding the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve OFF and the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve ON. The control module monitors the fuel tank pressure (FTP) sensor to determine if a vacuum is being drawn on the EVAP system If vacuum in the EVAP system is more than a predetermined value within a predetermined time, this code is set and the MIL (malfunction indicator lamp) is illuminated.

U0073 - Definition: Control Module Communication Bus "A" Off
I would bet that a wiring harness did not get plugged in good.
BTW, both of those results from just typing the code into Bing, but google works too.

I have already looked online at the codes. Lol. Im looking for ideas on why so many codes randomly. And why when i reset cel, different codes and never the same cept that bcu code.
And ive pulled the fuse box and reset the fuse panel back in.

Well i took them apart and reset it again. Drove 90ish miles and now theres a pretty decent knock. Guess on tuesday morning she will be at the chevy house. Hopefully its nothing big. :'( i only get her a good two months before something else goes wrong... but luckly i have extended warranty so if its a motor or something, shes coverd still...
N yea guess it was a falty connection, from when i put the clutch in. Thought i had em good n seated but guess not.

Kay so i got the wires reset and now cel is off! But anyone notice a knock from the 5speed when clutch is not pressed? Herd it is common and is nothing wrong with that noise from the getrags. Curious to see if anyone else has herd it?

Is there an adjustment? I remember my old 60's VW bugs would rattle when the clutch needed a turn on the cable wing nut. Don't know nothin' bout no Getrag.
