Unhappy

Well, I have to say it was a VERY BITTER SWEET THING, but I just traded mine in. It was in the shop from April to June. Two dealers could not figure out what was going on with it. It had basically every problem that you guys are describing. And, yes it did have the stage 1. So, I am no longer driving an american ride. Very bitter sweet thing. I loved my HHR SS. Just not when it was acting up.

I think many of the dropped boost issues are due to the AC and Map hitting.

More and more people are finding that that if the dealer is using washers to move the IC forward fixed the issue.

It is a clearance issue you just can't see with the engine not under a load.

Most people have not had issues and many have solved them.

Often it comes down to the installer and tech working on the issue.

Electrical issues are hard to solve. Also issues like the T map hitting the A/c is not something someone will see to look at it on the rack.

It took me a little time laying under the vehicle to find it. GMPD confirmed what to fix and my dealer fixed it.

The differance between a happy owner and a upset and frustrated owner is about 1/8 to 1/4 inch.

Gotta wait till Monday to see if GM is going to do the Buy back or time to bring in the attorney. Mine lost boost under a full load (4 passengers), AC on full and accelerating on the highway to pass someone plus over 100 degree weather. They said that they could not duplicate because the weather has been cooler and they can't pack 4 service techs in it and go driving around. I have all my work invoices and the problem always occurs during the summer months for 2 years now.

let you guys all now how it goes. If I do trade it in, I was looking at the Trailblazer SS or a Pontiac G8 GT =)
