18" Tire Size?
#2
That's what I'm running. Yea the ride is a little harsher than the stock 215/55R16's, but not by much.
I will probably either go with a 225/45 or a 235/40 with the next tires. Those will be a little taller.

18" Tire Size?
There are different sizes for different applications! The rim width and ride hidth also play a part in what should be reccomended for an 18" wheel! Is it an 18" x 7", 18" x 7.5", 18" x 8" or 18" x 8.5"? Wheel Offset? Does your vehicle sit stock or is it Lowered and if lowered how low is it"? Would reccomend the two sizes Solman98 recommend, 225 x 45 x 18" or 235 x 40 x 18"! The 225 x 40 x 18 Could be used on a 18" x 7" or even a 7.5" wheel but you better have a mega lowering job to remove the wheel well gap! An 8" or 8.5" wide wheel should start considering a 235 x 40 x 18" wide tire! We installed 225 x 45 x 18" on the 18" x 7" wheel and are "Happy" with the ride and stance all the way around! It could sit a little lower but ours is a dailey driver !
Good Luck,

Your HHR should sit lower with the Gold Lines which would look nicer IMHO!
Hope this Helps and We Love Pic's,

235/40/18 on mine. I love wider look. I also had to use wheel spacers though only because I have Pontiac solstice wheels, which have a 52 or 55 offset I can't remember. With my last wheels I had no problem with this size.
