2008 hhr panel 16'' rims to 18'' rims?

hello everyone, this is my first post and im glad i found this site. a little background about my hhr:

Year: 2008
Make: Chevrolet
Model: HHR LS
Style / Body: Panel / Van 2D
Engine: 2.2L I4 MPI
Country of Assembly: Mexico

im using it to do auto detailing, and im fixing it up real nice. one thing that is missing is some decent set of rims and tires. i saw a post on my local craigslist and someone is selling chrome hhr 18'' rims, the owner said they belonged to a hhr ss. my question is, can my hhr handle these rims? any help would be great! here's a picture of my hhr

Welcome to the site.

Fwiw. The SS rims are polished aluminum with clearcoat. Not chrome plated.
(the ones in my sig. picture)

And see if the person selling them can provide good clear photos, SS rims are easy to "curb" due to the low profile sidewalls on the tires used with them.

The normal things when buying used rims. Condition: scratches, curb rash etc. Take a good look at the clearcoat for any hazing or peeling, something like that would be costly to get fixed.
Are the lugnuts, centercaps included? Those are different on the SS rims.
Here's a pic of a clean, almost new rim.

They are polished aluminum, so do they look like these but chrome.

I like 235x45 best but, 245x40 and some 255x40 fit fine. Or you can do what Chevy did 225x45.
