I see this is becoming a common scenerio..everytime I rotate or paint or what ever I have to "kick" the wheels off the hubs..front and rear....thats close tolerance fit for you, add some weathering and heat and blam! Stuck wheels,,can always take a scrubby pad to the inside of the hole to "clean" it up a bit for next time....

Don't forget to clean the hubs off too, gentle wire brushing will do the trick. My new rotors and drums have a non-corrosive coating on them from the factory, supposed to help with the sticking issue...we'll see. Rotate every 3,000 miles and the fronts were always a bit stubborn on the old rotors, and I kept 'em clean and spiffy.

Factory rims are "hub-centric" as such they hug the hub.. Any rain / water & you start getting rust, which makes the fit tighter yet..

When I had mine off I cleaned the hub-snouts good, & wiped them 'lightly' with Synthetic grease. No more hubs rusting = no more stubborn rims..

edit: I've painted my rotor hat faces & rear drum faces too, but Never the hub-snouts.. There is not clearance for that..

Leave a lug on and buy a BF rubber hammer.

Just hit the back with the Rubber Hammer and it will come off.

This as they have said is a very common thing anymore with the new aluminum wheels and some steel.

Well, like I said, I hit it with the WD40 and then with the lugs slightly loose I droped the jack and the tire popped off. It was tight on the hub snout due to rust on it. Cleaned that area up and put on some light grease to hopefully prevent this in the future. I did rotate my tires while doing this too.
Thanks to everyone for the help! It worked!!!

A sledge to the tire from the backside should pop them right off.

If you rotate & balance at every other oil change, it helps with this problem. BTW, I use Mobile 1 5W30, and I'm getting at least 8K between changes, anyone else?

Do this while spinning the wheel and it works 10x better. See recent thread in the SS forum or search "wheel removal". Just had this happen today. And a rubber mallet, not a sledge! :)
