Catera wheels

I ran the grey Catera wheels with sensers and 3mm spacers on the front of my 09 HHR for a year. No problem. I now have the newer chrome Catera wheels with 225-55-16 and sensers (that look wonderful) and white letters on the tires. The newer wheels do not need the spacer. Good luck.

Kenh1: I guess I must have the older Catera wheels, but they are chrome. When I test fit them on the front, they were tight against the calibers. Did you use the stock GM HHR sensors? (part #25920615)?

I have used the stock HHR sensers in both sets of wheels. No problems. Just recalibrate after you have them put on.

I ordered centers on ebay for next to nothing. Peel off the Cadillac centers and stick bowtie centers in their place. I believe those centers are 2 1/8 or 2 3/16. If you look at my pics, you can see my grey rims. Good luck.

I got the gray ones also, but they were in pretty bad shape and required repainting. I moved the factory tires onto them without sensors. Thats what a tire pressure gauge is for
Some have said the sensors can be transferred, but I dont see how, the rubber stem is fairly hard and the lip is large enough that it will tear coming back out. I had to replace one that got caught when the tires were mounted.

I got new senser valve stems from NAPA for about $4 each. The sensers attach with a small screw.

Ya, I guess you could do that. Even dealer price on the stems are like $10, then just screw on the old modules.

I love the Catera rims on my black granite 2011 LT. Mine are chrome. I had to add a 1/8 inch spacer in the front. I will post a pic as soon as the weather is nice here in MN.
