Chrome (like) wheel covers?

I am looking for some plastic wheel covers that bolt on like the stock wheel covers. Is there such an animal? Does anyone know why the ring type wheel covers for a 16" wheel wont fit? I hate the gray covers, but cant afford chrome wheels yet. Any ideas?

Thumbs up 16-inch chrome wheel cover available on 1LT in 2010

I wonder if this cover would work to replace those standard on the LS. Same size, I am just wondering if it bolts on in the same manner. Not too bad looking, I just wonder the best place to buy them. I wouldn't want a knock off, I would want the factory originals.

sometimes you have to really give the ring type covers a good pop to get them to seat. I had to push the one's on my Lumina (14"ers) pretty hard. You can shake the entire car by pulling on them...$20 at WalMart

I got a set of four of these on E-Bay for $70.00. They are smooth on the front and bolt on, plus they look just like the gray ones that came on my LT but they are chrome. These will only fit the five spoke 16 inch steel wheels.

Thats right-you have to be carefull with mixing 5 spoke steelie hub caps and the regular 18 hole steelie hub caps. The caps do not mix. I found that out the hard way-(got a great price on them though in stock colored silver)-used em anyway and altered them with a dremel. I wouldn't recommending using a dremel on the chrome caps though, would probably screw up the chrome.

Had to shave lots off-but look good.
