Question A Good Place for OEM or OEM Style Rims

I am in the searching phase now. I expect my 16" stock 2007 HHR LT rims will become a designated snow tire and at some point I would like something LIKE a HHR SS or some sort of Chrome Rim with Spokes.

Local Craigslist only shows vehicles for sale and most online searching shows single rims going for over 200 each rim and almost 1k for a set. It does not have to be a SS rim but something like it. VERY nice but OEM no ricer garbage.

Example. I put 1995 Trans Am rims on my 1994 Camaro z28 since the T/A Rims looked better then the stocker salad shooters it came with.

I live in Connecticut.

Craigslist is your best bet, you save on shipping if you can find someone local. SOmetimes you just have to wait.

EBay is also a good place to look. Also the forums (check on Cobaltss.net also).

Just keep and eye out.

Cool, at least I have a website but pricing is def high for OEM stuff. I mean this car is not a Viper where their rims go for 1,200 each but wow...

I'm sorry man, but the SS rims are a hot commodity. Maybe look into the CobaltSS.net forum and see what someone is selling a CSS/TC wheel set for. Maybe some rashed ones you could get powdercoated.

A friend from the site local to me was going to sell me a set of TC wheels for my SS for 400 bucks...wrapped with Eagle GTs (80 percent life).

I wanted to replace what I had, these, which were (to me) awful.

These are the actual rim in the forum banner on this very site (look up and to the right)

These are what I had. NW5 RPO wheels. The dealership replaced them because I had a corrosion complaint. They upgraded me because the NW5 wheels were on back order.

Seems like many OEM wheels are hot commodities, not just HHR stuff, but I hear you there.
