How many springs were offed on the Cobalt SS models? I have some I think they came off a SC model but not sure. They did lower the rear so that it is now lower than the front of my LS

I installed the Gold Line leveling springs this morning. It was a very easy task. Next step is the new wheels. Here's the after leveling coils picture. The drive way is on a grade going down in the front so it probably doesn't appear as if the coils did much but by measurement it changed the fender to tire by 1 1/2".

Got the Crager S/S wheels and installed 225-50-17 Hankook Ventus V2 Concept tires. Goldline leveling springs on the rear. New TPS sensors installed and calibrated because the OM tires and rims are being sold to a friend Now what to do next? Mmmmmmm?

Very Sharp Combo..

"Now what to do next? Mmmmmmm?"

maybe a nice exhaust tip (if you don't already have one, hard to tell)..

or remove the 'fishing pole' for a stubby antenna..

Thanks guys. I just ordered a stubby ant. Don't have a exhaust tip but a shiny tip would look good against the blue paint and the shiny wheels.

MANNN!! Those wheels are sharp! They complement the Retro styling of the car so much. It would be great if we could use a 'deep-dish' design, but with front wheel drive, that just can't happen. To me, those Cragars are the next best thing. I personally like this look so much better than the newer style rims on the HHR because of the whole retro feel. If I had the extra $$ laying around, I'd be doing a copy-cat of yours for sure.

I think I will do that Sleeper. Do you know if the factory tip is a weld on item. I really like this Borla tip but it comes in a 2.5 inch inlet. I suspect a muffler shop could still fit it up. What you think?
