Pep Boys Wheels

Found some wheels that I loved at Pep Boys, but could not pull the trigger...the price is just to low. Style 1077, 5 spoke. Look great on the visualizer. $44.50 for the 16's. Had an insurance claim and my price limit was $110 each. Went with the 16" Drag DR 19's. Still getting used to the new look, but I love them. Here is a link to Pep Boys, may be a good option for someone that tore up the factory wheels and is on a budget. http://www.pepboys.com/tires_wheels/.../custom_wheels

Yeah at less than $50 a piece, I'd be scared to pull the trigger too. I've got the Drag DR 19's on my wagon and love them. Be careful though...I knew when I bought them that they were a cheap entry level wheel. I just got a new set of tires put on and I've got a slow leak in one of them. We thought it was the valve stem...changed it...still leaked so we put a new tire on...still leaks. Next thing is swapping out the wheel. I've only hit one thing hard enough for me say "whoa" but I didn't think a thing about it. If this is in fact a bent rim...these are super soft! Just take care and not hit any pot holes if you can help it.

Had the MB/Hotwheels Octains and loved them on the HHR. Never liked the them on another vehicle I saw though. Slick roads caused me to take on a curb and the service advisor was nice enough to say all 4 were damaged since it is a style no longer produced. The black Drag rims are nice, think I will need to add a few more black accents to the car. Read on another forum that some of the pep boys proline wheels don't balance out very well. Need someone to pick up a set so other owners can follow suit or know to stay away.

The first time salt or any type of chemical cleaner hits them the chrome will probably EXPLODE of the wheel
