Looks like your IC has a helping hand. Sorry you have to deal with that (I say as I sit here in shorts and t-shirt)

esmarkey,

love the shots. i was in kalamazoo the last 5 years, so i know the pain a bit, not as bad as the coast though. Remember that blizzard last easter. Yeah i drove in that for 5 hours in a freakin aveo...feared for my life.

we already have snow down here in indiana, much earlier then last year.

Want to help in my invention. A laser beam that shoots out of the front of the car melting all snow in your path, i think it could work....

I used to work at a company that built industrial lasers and I can tell you that the energy necessary to melt a 7' wide swath of snow at 60mph is WELL beyond the capability of the alternator in our cars

In Holland Mi they run steam pipes under the roads and melt everything. The roads aren't even wet shortly after a snow! Now that's the way to go.

god i would love the piping under the roads even here... it would be a huge change from the current, "why should we plow" attitude the city seems to have. It was a big change coming from michigan, especially the first time i saw the snow trucks out (and it might have been one of the only times...) it was a dude in a city pickup truck with a blade on the front...that was it...
