tire size

I have a 2008 LT2 Panel which has 215/50R-17....I have found a good deal on 4 Eagle GT 225/50R-17. At this dealer I can't get the 215, my concern is will the 225 rub...?
thanks Mike M

Im running 225/55/16 which are about the same diameter, lots of room still. You can try one of the online tire size calculators, I think the max is 26.2"?

Pretty sure Sleeper is running 225/50 17's and no issues. They run just under the strut plate.

the 10MM wider is measured at the section width, not tread width.

Jeff- That's a short tire.. 24.97 compared to 25.5 for a 215/50/17

When your speed-O reads 65, you are doing about 63.4 mph..
