What about these 20"s
I found this package on ebay and I kind of like it with the exception that I wish the wheels were black, but I may have them painted.
Let me know what you guys think of the look for this car, I like the deep dish look.
What issues (if any) could I expect to encounter if I put these larger wheels on my SS????
Also, I'm sure this topic has been touched in the past, but I don't know who to search this site. How do you search?
here is the wheel package: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-H...Q5fAccessories

Larger wheels generally mean more rotational mass. That additional mass will lengthen braking distances. The ABS, and TCS will be affected if the overall diameter is significantly different as well. A shorter sidewall could translate to a rougher ride. I my opinion, when going with big wheels, the brakes need to be bigger for aesthetics, big wheel/little rotor just looks stupid to me. Feel free to ignore my opinion though, because I know I'm biased.

The ecu is geared up for 18" wheels with a 45 series tire.
If you don't mind your speedo and other stuff being off, then jump on it.
Bear in mind that your SS will look sort of like a covered wagon, being jacked up in the air with 20'S. You'll have plenty of ground clearance.
