Wheel BORE and OFFSET help

Hello. I know little about rims. I want these:

http://www.elites-wholesale.com/18-W...-p4315651.html

The rim is 18x8.5 offset is 38 and the bore is 70. From what i've read, our bore is 65 and offset is 42. I've seen another car on here with a 18x8.5 and a 35 offset that said they had no rub issues.

Do i need the hubcentric rings to make up the gap on the hub bore or are they unnecessary

If so which ones do i need?

What is the best tire size for this setup without rubbing? 225/45/18 or 235/40/18?

Thanks

I'd say you will need the rings to make up the difference, since the wheels on the HHR are of the hub centric type. Contact the wheel vendor to get some recommendations as to what they recommend, or there might be an installation kit available from them already.
