And I got hit by a wealthy man with nothing but insurance. NOT. A 17-yr old girl with NO insurance and a permit, not even a license. Sheez. Her mom sounds nice but broke. I got this HHR when my son totaled my former car - an accident, his fault. But I had insurance on him from the day he got behind the wheel, so as not to SCREW anybody else. I guess I'm not really hurt, just shook up, sore, and the kids in the back are fine (what are they, made out of noodles?). And that's what counts. So I will need a new rear bumper and a small dent popped out, no paint, best case scenario. I don't want to claim anything because of the ginormous claim we just had. Haven't been in a wreck before - spun around, ended up halfway on the sidewalk. Am I whining?

Glad everyone is ok. The ride can be fixed and it will be behind you. But it not being your fault your rates shouldn't be effected. My Son totaled his exploder on our insurance and then about two months ago got his New Van totaled. Insurance didn't go up for not being his fault. But that is allstate.
