More damage to HHR

On Sunday morning after work I took the car to Red Carpet to get cleaned, aft they cleaned it and gave it back to me, I went home and looked around the car to admire it, and I saw a little mark what looked like bird poo on the rear passenger door (the same rear passenger door that was replaced and freshly painted). I tried to rub it out with a cloth to no avail. Looking closer, it looked as if some tool at Red Carpet, when opening a door to a car next to mine, hit the body panel and scraped paint off it.

I contacted the owners of Red Carpet and told them the problem, and he said that if I have touch up paint (which I got from the dealership after we bought ours), to brig it in today and they'll apply it and let it sit and dry until Friday, and they will wet sand it and buff it so that it blends in with the rest of the body.

After what happened there, being pi s s e d off, I'm really skeptical. I've taken pics of it in its present form, and we'll see how bad (or good) it is on Friday. If it's bad, I'll make sure they pay for me to take it back to Caliber Auto Body.

I'll let you know how well it goes.

Update: I didn't accept their offer to touch it up. The could not guarentee that you wouldn't notice it, and they weren't going to pay to get it done professionally (I gave them an estimate from Caliber)... hello small-claims court!

I totally would not let them do that.....

It's something you could do yourself if that's really the way you want it repaired. I would have them pay to have it professionally done.....
