Stiglitz vs Lumina
Coming home on route 20 in northern Ohio from a BBQ near Jackson, I get to a stop light, to my left, an Acura TL, behind me, a late 90's Chevy Lumina. Light turns green, so I ggun it, straightaway in the middle of no where, and I wanted a little fun. Roasted the tires, and took off, looking in my rear view mirror, noticing the Lumina holding close to my bumper. I let off, and they get up next to me at the next red light. "You know, you just got beat by a 4-banger right?" "Yep, I can believe it, she's got almost 211,000 miles. That car is fast. What ya got?" "2.2 Ecotec 4, and a 5 speed" to which got a thumbs up. Next light drops, we both light them up, and I could hear that Lumina motor, size I have no clue, 6 of some size. (UrbexHHR help here). I could hear their Lumina hitting its max revs and struggling to keep pace with me, as I'm in second gear dropping to thire, I start pulling away. I give the peace sign, and hop on 475 south. Definitely was intense!

3.1 liter V-6 in that Lumina Kev, depending the the model year somewhere between 160-165 hp. Unless it was a Z-34 or 9C1 police package car, then you'd be looking at either a DOHC 3.4 or an OHV 3.8 with between 200-220 hp.

Sleeper's thinking the same as I. I think discount tire would help with the down payment on the SS. But who am I to talk, I tore up a set of ultra performance tires in 6 months Ha Ha Ha. These new potenza 760 are smooth riding lets see if they last more than 6 months.

If it was an LS it probably had the 3800. Base model would have the 3100 (or if an early one, maybe 3400)
But in all honesty, I doubt they were really trying, or they have some engine problem. I can tell you first hand the 3100 is faster than the 2.2
